Why "The Blessed Life?"

Deciding on a blog title has got to be one of the most difficult parts of starting up a blog.  Finding something cute but not too cheesy, that applies to you and what you want your blog to be about is hard enough.  Then comes finding a title that isn’t already taken.  Oh, the frustration I felt when my first several ideas were already in use. 

So…why did I settle on “The Blessed Life Blog?”

Mainly, because something I have learned to realize over the past couple of years is how blessed I really am.

Make no mistake, I could never call this the “Easy Life Blog,” the “Everything’s Coming Up Roses Blog”, or necessarily even call it the “Cheerful Life Blog.”  But, it is a blessed life.  And while I couldn’t say our life is easy, or always a cheerful one, and I could even go so far as to say that our family has gone through seasons of real trials, I know we’re blessed through it.

I’m learning that if we try hard enough, we can find amazing blessings every day, and not just on the good ones.  And…I want to be more aware of them.
